The space is conceived as an arena, recovering the seatings from the previous edition of the fair and it is entirely covered by a carpet with abstract drawings. The pattern is a reminiscence of the scribbles drawn on paper while reflecting or during a phone conversation: the unconscious traces made while elaborating a complex thought.

The position of the speakers is central, reflecting the desire to activate a circular exchange of thoughts and information. Vitrines are closing the perimeter of the space, displaying a selection of books considered fundamental by some of the leading voices of the Salone del Mobile and speakers invited for the 2023 and 2024 public programs.

A hundred volumes mark the birth of a new permanent project named Biblioteca del Salone. Together with the curatorial work of Annalisa Rosso, the ambition is to define an ideal bibliography for the design discipline in the 21st century to be expanded in the years to come.
