Olfactory Series 1
Jil Sander, 2025
The first Jil Sander fragrance collection merges botany and technology in six minimalist, unisex scents crafted by five perfumers under Creative Directors Lucie and Luke Meier.
The leading idea was to recalibrate traditional perfume proportions, creating radical compositions that use only the essential: the fragrance, infused with 3 key natural ingredients, synthetic aldehydes, upcycled alcohol, and water.

Olfactory Series 1 embodies awareness, care, and a commitment to quality and innovation, placing individuality at its core.
True to the collection’s quietly disruptive spirit, the bottle was designed in collaboration with Formafantasma to blend artisanal craftsmanship with industrial process, redefining traditional glassmaking.
Through experimental techniques with glass manufacturers, each bottle has an organic, non-symmetrical shape, and a unique glass repartition. Subtle imperfections make every piece as singular as the individuals who wear the fragrance.
The bell-shaped white aluminum cap that covers the container serves both form and function. It protects the fragrance from light but when it is removed to apply the fragrance, it leads to a gesture that unveils a precious contents.
